Purpose-built
shop gear.
MC Shop Systems is a one-person workshop in Washington. Every piece is dimensioned from real measurements and high-resolution 3D scans, then printed in production-grade ABS. Tool holders today. Jigs and woodworking next.
If something doesn't fit your specific setup, message me — I iterate on designs and have made one-off variants for buyers.

How it started
Most pegboard tool storage turns into a trial-and-error exercise. You keep moving hooks around, hanging the tool, taking it back off, shifting everything one hole over, then pretending the final result is acceptable because it technically hasn’t fallen yet. Then every time you put the tool back on the wall, it’s like playing pin the tail on the donkey with $200+ tools.
Eventually that got annoying enough that I started making my own tool holders. What started with a few custom docks for my shop turned into a small but growing catalog of purpose-built holders designed around the actual tool — not some "universal fit" approximation.
From scan to shipment, five steps.
- 01
Scan
3D-scan the real object — generic CAD doesn't cut it when the fit has to be exact.
- 02
Model
CAD around the actual geometry, not a stand-in or a silhouette.
- 03
Print & test
ABS at 0.2mm (or 0.16mm). Tested against the real thing before it ever lists.
- 04
Stock up
Popular variants stay on the shelf — most orders ship the same or next business day.
- 05
Pack & ship
Boxed with the hardware you need. Ships from Washington.
I use ABS. My printers suffer so your tools don't have to.
Most 3D-printed shop gear is made from PLA — cheap to print, snaps under load, and turns into a noodle the first time your garage hits 100°F.
ABS is the opposite: tough, heat-tolerant, solvent-resistant, and built for shop conditions.
Every part that leaves this shop is printed in ABS. Engineered and tuned for shop conditions, end-to-end.
